Encounters Europe is part of a family-run business, set up by a teacher, that has been organising school and group trips for nearly 30 years
Our extensive experience in school travel has taught us that no two schools or groups are the same. This is why, as well as offering set itinerary tours, we can also provide entirely tailor-made high quality tour to destinations throughout Europe, each specifically designed to meet your group’s individual needs.
In order to achieve your learning objectives, we can tailor your itinerary to suit the abilities and expectations of your group and to deliver the best possible educational experience. In close cooperation with the Party Leader, our expert tour organisers will create the perfect educational tour for your group.
Bringing the classroom to life!
Our trips help teachers to energise the curriculum, get to know their students better, and feel proud of providing their most exciting learning experience yet. We believe that these trips are an important part of students’ educational and personal development and, in most cases, form part of the subject curriculum.
Learning Outside the Classroom
Encounters Europe was one of the very first organisations in the country to be awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge, recognising us as a provider of quality, safely managed educational experiences for young people. The Governments ‘Health and Safety of Learners Outside the Classroom’ consultation paper makes it very clear that “for more complex off-site visits, the Quality Badge scheme helps you use accredited providers – you needn’t risk assess what’s offered by holders of a Quality Badge.”
