Brussels and Battlefields

Belgium is a country with a fine mixture of history, art, culture and poignant memorials of World War I and its battlefields. Among many attractions are coasts with sandy beaches stretching for 42 miles, and the capital city Brussels, the focal point of the EU and NATO - all just 2 hours away from Calais and in a perfect position for visiting three different countries.Belgium is an ideal destination for younger school groups. It is easily reachable from the UK, and its size means that much can be seen and done in a relatively short time.
