Florence

Since the 13th century, artists, intellectuals, scholars and architects have been attracted to the city of Florence, in the heart of Tuscany, which has been immortalised many times over by Dante, Giotto, Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. It was Florence’s artists and thinkers who set the wheels of
the Renaissance in motion, and the formidable galleries, museums and churches of this city, plot the advance of the Renaissance, stage by stage. This celebrated city can easily be explored and enjoyed on foot.
