Encounters Europe Bringing the classroom to life

Isle of Wight

The Isle of Wight is an excellent destination for a school trip that ties in with many parts of the curriculum. As well as Geography and Natural History, there are opportunities for residential trips based upon English, Maths and Art.

We have specifically planned our trips to offer primary schools an excellent value-for-money residential trip, and to make sure that as many children as possible will have the opportunity to take part. And sole-occupancy is normally guaranteed.

Our prices start from £113 for a three day/two night trip for groups of 40 children + 5 teachers, and please note that this includes:

  • coach
  • ferry
  • full board accommodation - breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Travel insurance is available at £1 per person per day.

We have put together a table showing the prices for different group sizes, number of days, and times of the year. You can open/download the pdf here.

Further information about attractions and visits on the island can be found on the Island Council's website: www.islandbreaks.co.uk (and the images at the top of the page are courtesy of the IW Council).
