Loire Valley

The Loire Valley is known as the centre of the French Renaissance and the “Garden of France” with over a hundred beautiful castles and chateaux. The Loire Valley is also reputed for its fine wines and outstanding cuisine. Stretching from the Atlantic Coast to the centre of France, it is an area of outstanding beauty and is renowned for its rich artistic and historic past. The nearby Futuroscope, European Park of the Moving Image – France’s intelligent theme park – explores fascinating developments in cinematography.
