Seine Maritime

Normandy Seine Maritime is an atmospheric coastal area with famous tourist magnets such as Rouen and Le Havre, and quiet little market towns with rich maritime heritage. Seine Maritime is a superb base for sight-seeing. Rouen overflows with monuments, medieval streets and churches. It was a favourite of Monet’s who immortalised Rouen cathedral in many different guises, through seasons and times of the day. Musée Malraux in Le Havre is another highlight of the area, housing a fine collection of canvasses by the
Impressionists – who painted extensively in Normandy.
