Flamenco Course

Flamenco is an Andalusian art although it is identified with Spain as a whole. It has been modernised in recent years and these days is often fusioned with blues, jazz or even more modern rhythms. The dance helps to develop physical and emotional awareness, confidence and understanding and will
contribute to the Arts and PE curriculum.

Location: Hotel Montmar, Rosas, Costa Brava, Spain

Itinerary
The programme below shows a sample itinerary for 5 nights/6 days with three 1 hour 30 minutes flamenco lessons. Dance lessons are combined with attending a flamenco show and sightseeing.

Sample programme (5 nights)
Day 1   Arrive accommodation
Day 2   Flamenco lesson, 1 hour 30 minutes
           Excursion to Girona (the capital of the province with a
           Gothic Cathedral, Arabian baths, Jewish Quarter, etc)
Day 3   Flamenco lesson, 1 hour 30 minutes
           Excursion to Figueres and visit to the Dalí Museum;
           Local excursions in Rosas
           Flamenco Show
Day 4   Full day excursion to Barcelona
Day 5   Flamenco lesson, 1 hour 30 minutes
           Local excursions in Rosas
Day 6   Departure
