Yes we know that, strictly speaking, the USA isn’t actually in Europe, but it’s such a popular destination for a school trip that we have to include it. The land of Uncle Sam, apple pie and chop suey is an exciting melange of cultures and experiences.
Separated by our common language, and with the plethora of TV shows and films, the USA is strangely familiar, whilst at the same time being exotic, new and pulsating. It is a wonderful place for a visit, allowing new experiences and sights and sounds to be encountered, whilst never feeling completely out of place.
